Driving Theory Practice (Android) · package com.pixel.uaedrivingtheory · effective 19 August 2026
Driving Theory Practice (“the app”) is published by Abdul Hakeem Mehmood Hussain (“we”). This policy explains what information the app handles and why.
1. No account, no personal data required
The app does not ask you to register, log in, or provide your name, email address or phone number. All study progress (answers, bookmarks, mock-test results, flash-card schedule, unlock timers, settings) is stored only on your device and is never uploaded to our servers. Deleting the app, or using “Reset progress” in the app, removes that data.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob, including rewarded video ads used to unlock chapters. Google may collect and process your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, coarse location derived from it, and app-usage signals to serve and measure ads, as described in Google’s advertising policies and the Google Privacy Policy. You can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of personalised ads in Android Settings → Google → Ads. Purchasing “Remove ads” stops all ad requests.
3. Analytics and crash reporting (Firebase)
We use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand which features are used (for example how many practice questions or mock tests are completed) and to fix crashes. These services receive anonymous usage events, device model, OS version, app version and, for crashes, a stack trace. They do not receive your quiz answers or any personal identifiers we set. See the Firebase privacy information.
4. In-app purchase (Google Play Billing)
The optional one-time “Remove ads” purchase is processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment details; we only receive confirmation that the purchase was made so the app can hide ads on your device.
5. Permissions
The app requests Internet access (for ads, analytics and purchases) and network-state access. It does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts or storage permissions.
6. Children
The app is intended for learner drivers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Content source
Questions are derived from the Light Vehicle Handbook published by Emirates Driving Company. The app is not affiliated with Emirates Driving Company, the RTA or any government authority.
8. Changes and contact
